Cull Your Shoot in Minutes with Photo RAW MAX 2027

  • ON1 Photo RAW

Spend less time clicking through near-identical shots and more time editing the ones that matter.

In this sneak peek, Dan walks through the new Culling Assistant tab in ON1 Photo RAW 2027 MAX, a Photo RAW MAX exclusive built to speed up one of the most time-consuming parts of any shoot: picking your best frames out of dozens of similar shots.

See how Analyze groups similar and duplicate photos while flagging out-of-focus frames and closed eyes, how Review lets you compare a whole burst side by side with synced pan and zoom so you can judge sharpness and expression at a glance, and how Actions applies ratings, edit presets, and export settings to your keepers and rejects in a single batch. Whether you’re sorting through a wildlife shoot, a wedding, or a motocross gallery, this workflow is designed to get you from a raw folder to finished selects faster.

I still use Lightroom. This looks like a real timesaver before I add the files to my Lightroom catalogue.

Any doubts that I may have had about renewing ON1 for another year – just vaporised. This sounds amazing and time saving – vey excited.

This is amazing! The focus finder alone will change my culling completely. Good job ON1.

I look forward to culling! I shoot a large number of motorsports racing at a burst firing panning mode. There are often multiple and similar shots to go through for final editing. zThis technique should be of tremendous value.

Does this have a convenient way of removing rejects from the hard drive or RAID box? With LR I can type X for a reject and arrow to the next image and either reject or keep. Repeat and repeat. When done I can then select all of the rejected photos marked X and remove them from the RAID box with two key strokes. Very efficient. I have not found I can do this with ON1 and end up not using it.
