Your 2027 Upgrade Game Plan
- ON1 Photo RAW
- Beginner
You already know Photo RAW 2026. This replay shows how 2027 makes that same workflow a whole lot faster. Culling Assistant groups similar shots and flags the soft ones, so a large shoot turns into a few quick decisions. NoNoise AI adds an improved model plus dedicated ones for wildlife, people, astro and film. Masking now lives inside every adjustment, effect and layer, the new RAW engine opens images better out of camera, and Generative Erase with Cloud GenAI clears distractions large or small in seconds.

Hi Dylan
It all looks very good.
No Noise – If I have images developed in the older versions of PR. Is there a legacy like option inside of PR 2027, so that these mages will still open, and look as they did when they were developed in the older versions of PR?
PS- New No Noise looks fabulous…
AI Culling. A lot to get my head around, but it will be a time saver.
New Masking UI. Great, should have been like this inside of PR 2026.
– However, I like to cut out figures and/or objects. Then to paste them into other images. So, how does the new UI change the way in which objects can be cut out? Is a new training video needed?
New Raw Processing Engine. Looks like it is a big step forward. ‘Hats off’ to all of the Coders at ON1 🙂
New Generative Erase. Impressive. And I can see where it would be very useful, and I guess that it will only get better as development continues?
-I own PR 2026 MAX, and will have PR 2027 MAX too. But, The PAGB UK does not permit Generative AI to be used in Competition Images. So, please also keep on developing the Non Generative AI cloning tools. As these will be the ones that I will be using. (Also Dan’s recent video, on Non AI cloning tools, looked very encouraging). 🙂
PS, I watched the recording.
Best wishes David Price
