2017 has been going by way too fast. It’s crazy to think we’re already halfway through the year. It’s been an incredibly exciting year so far in ON1 Plus; we’ve had unforgettable moments and made some great memories. From launching new courses, sharing hundreds of presets, introducing new coaches and unique topics, we can go on and on. Hello ON1 Plus Community, I am so delighted to be here once again! In past months I have brought you several series on Workflow and Artistry. This month I am going to do something new. I am going to take the Topic of Luminosity Masking and dig deep into the weeds of it. So instead of a broad topic, we are going to look at a small topic and expand it out!
Today we are excited to announce that ON1 Photo RAW 2019.2, a free update to ON1 Photo RAW 2019, is officially available. ON1 Photo RAW 2019.2 includes a powerful new masking feature that leverages AI for generating masks as well as performance enhancements and new camera support.
When I set out to write the three-part series about the ON1 past, present, and future, my goal was to paint a picture of a company that listens to photographers and outlines all the cool stuff we have in the works. I’ve read every one of your comments and emails; some good and some bad. Both are great and thank you for all the comments, feedback, and requests. The ON1 team considers all customer feedback invaluable, and I want to take the opportunity to address the most common themes. In the spirit of complete transparency, let’s dig in!
Here’s a short video on how to best setup and use a Wacom pen tablet with Photo RAW. I’ll talk a bit about what tablets I use, and show you how I set them up and use them in my editing workflow. We’ve had a lot of questions about pen tablets in the Plus forums, which led us to create this video.
