There’s so many features in On1, thank you for highlighting Dynamic Contrast. I’ve tried it and it works quite well. I used it on a few images of birds of prey in flight and it improved all but one of the photos. Disappointingly the last one I tried had quite an obvious halo along the front edge of the wing. If you’ve any ideas or suggestions for either preventing or removing halos, I’d be very grateful.

I got rid of Photoshop and Lightroom. Rolling with you company now. Playing with buttons and sliders, figured things out

I ditched photoshop too. Hoping I get it all figured out.

I use the presets of the filter a lot. You have encouraged me to take a step up and work from scratch to get much more refined results. Regardless of how much I know, I always learn something new. This time a learned a great deal. Thanks for all the support you provide every day.

Sorry Adobe, but your latest changes were a step to far. I found a new friend in ON1. There is just one small issue I had and that was I was away on location in Iceland without access to the internet and ON1 decided that would be the day it wanted to phone home before I could use it.
