FYI. He didn’t mention it in this clip, but brilliant AI has a programmable section in the preferences module. So you have the ability to dial in your preferences for it’s change. There has been clips on it in the past, so should be able to look up if interested. But found it useful, to dial back the intensity.

Thanks Dillon. Perhaps you have covered exposure elements that are distracting elsewhere in the image, but the Monkey image is an exemplar. That bright blownout (?) area to the right needs attention. What are your ideas and how best to avoid a muddy adjustment solution? Boosting the white slider helps I know, but what else?

Speed is the essence so thank you for a concise tutorial.
On1 is a quick way to dress up snapshots and the quick mask makes specific subject masking very quick.
Comment: Brilliance AI does not work for me consistently so I will often delete the effect in favour of more specific editing.

Random comment: Just got back from photographing the Oregon Coast and used On1 NoNoise 2023 on most of my images. Really effective. Never worry about ISO anymore. I did have another thought though. I also used my iPhone 13 and noticed that the color and brilliance of the images coming out of the iPhone are far superior to my images coming out of my Z7II. When will the traditional camera companies learn from the smart phone companies.

I’ve asked before…. there’s a 2019 version of face swapping in YT, but it took me a while to learn to do it in 2025 raw. It’s a very common requirement for group photos. Please can you show everyone how best to do it?
