Just a quick note to let folks know that the ON1 Plus Photo Critiques for December are now open for submissions. You can upload photos through the end of the day, Friday, December 18.
If you haven’t submitted a photo recently—or at all—please think about it. The monthly critiques are one of the things that Hudson and I love most about working with the Plus community, and members regularly tell us how much they appreciate the feedback on their work. It’s also a wonderful way to pick up some tips and tricks for shooting and processing your photos, as well as a way to see how other Plus photographers view their world.

The release of our new state-of-the-art application for image noise removal is just around the corner. We’ve been dialing in all that is involved with the upcoming release. There have been many (too many to count) internal debates about how we set the user preferences in the fully released product. We are asking our users to help settle this once and for all.

The May Plus Photo Critiques will open on Monday, May 3, and will close no later than the end of the day on Sunday, May 9, or once we reach out monthly critique limit. Plus members may upload a single photo as part of the group critique exercise conducted by Hudson and me.
Our goal is to talk about all submitted photos, and, as such, we are keeping the total number of submissions to approximately 40, so that we can give each submitted photo a proper critique. If you have been a regular contributor, and can wait a few days before submitting your photo, so newcomers get a chance, that would be wonderful.
