It’s funny. I shoot all my video training work in 4K and then downrez it to 1080 to make for faster downloads and streaming. The quality is better when shot that way, but I really can’t tell the difference from the 4k and the 1080 downsample unless I’m watching something on a full size theater screen or the latest HUGE screen OLED TV.

Thank you for the mention of my old friend Galen…I miss him..He is what got me into mountain photography. I was lucky enough to actually be at the base camp of K2 with him. His photography and Ansel Adams remain my go-to standards. I haven’t heard anyone bring him up in years so thank you.

Hi Hudsom, I am really looking forward to your video. As a very new photographer I have learnt so much from the ON1 tutorials. Just one little thing. I know that most of the worlds population lives in the northern hemisphere but there are a few of us that live a little further south. As a result our Autumn [Fall] will not be arriving now until mid 2020. I take it that the video will be in October or November; we have both those and only a day before you do 8-). Many thanks and keep up the exceptional work. It is very much appreciated. BTW, I down loaded the beta of the new 2020 version. Blown away, ON1 is really stepping up the game now. Give my regards to the entire team that help make this a reality. Just awesome.
