I appreciate these videos and you thoroughly explaining the processes and what you are doing and why. It is very informative on the capabilities, for example, clicking with your masking brush at a starting point, and then clicking “shift” and click mask to have it mask a straight path from the first click to the second.
There must be a bug though in ON1 Photo RAW 2023, as when I create the stamped layer towards the end of the video, the pathway turns into a mask nightmare. And unfortunately, if I “merge visible”, it’s the same problem, and even if I “export” to a file, it has the horrible masking problem in the exported file. It looks to be the same bug where the Mask AI had that bug afflicted with some Nvidia graphics cards. Sadly, this prevents me from creating a composite layered image like this.

Quick update. I was one who previously had the AI masking bug with Nvidia Graphics card, so once I had updated my Nvidia graphics driver to a version that worked and was no longer an issue, I kept running that driver version, paranoid to change to a newer version when things were working fine.. Then I ran into this issue with creating the stamped layer. So I just tried updating the driver to the most current, and that seems to have corrected the issue and now when I create the stamped layer, it works fine.

Thanks for your tutos.
I encounter significant slowness with my iMac (Retina 5K, 27 inches, end 2015) 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5 four core 32 GB 1867 MHz DDR3.
I have plans to switch to an iMac M1.
Will I see a noticeable difference?

alleen jammer dat je niet laat zien hoe je het maskeerpenseel op een startpunt zet en dan naar boven gaat en ergens op klik om in een keer langs de trap iets weg te halen. Ik versta geen Engels , maar kan het wel volgen wat jij doet als alle handelingen ook in beeld worden gebracht. Zo zijn de video’s beter door iedereen die geen Engels verstaat of leest beter te begrijpen.

Brilliant tutorial. Straight forward and very easy to follow. It has stirred my imagination and given me food for thought. I especially appreciated the tip with the mask brush – holding the shift key to get a straight line.
