Using the Text Tool

The Text tool lets you add multiple blocks of text to your photo or composite, for everything from simple watermarks to more complicated text-based layouts. Within each block you have complete control over the font, type size, color and alignment, and can set the opacity of each text block.

Text needs to be on it’s own layer.

I can’t seem to copy and paste text from another program and place it into a text box in ON1; is it just me or is this not possible to do in ON1?

The example given here is pretty basic. It is now 12/12/2022 and what I want to do is use a text layer as a mask so that the underlying image layer ONLY comes through inside the text. In other words, the text now looks like a stencil through which we can see the underlying image.
How can we do that in Photo RAW 2023?
