I just tried this out on a tiny 157 kb image of two little brothers that a friend sent to me. I resized it 1600%, and I applied the face improvement feature. I was amazed what a great job the software did.

I came across a family photo on my PC, taken on a Samsung mobile in 2018, 1.4mb, 72 dpi. Using 2026.2 resize x4 on highest quality and reduced to 50%. It did a very good job.
Many thanks

Just tried this on an old file that was shot back in about 2005 with a compact point & shoot. Took a crop was just 380 pixels on the long side; I used the 8x setting and the resulting enlarged file was pretty incredible.

This may come in handy if I ever reprocess some old low res negative scans I have

Hi team, I have the latest Photo Raw 2026.2 installed…..it was an upgrade from previous version released in OCT.
When I start the app (MAC Sequoia) the program starts to run then a popup says I need to update to 2026.2 which it already is, seconds later the program quits itself. When I restart the app it all works correctly.
Is there some issue in the upgrade that does not delete some previous preference or data file.
Whilst this IS annoying it is not a real hassle….just hoping there is a bug-fix for the problem.

I had the same issue and discovered last week that after the release of 2026.2 there has been a minor update for several bugs. After I installed it Photo Raw starts up as it should.
Don’t what was actually repaired though.
