Tech Talk – Color Management

Getting the color out of your printer to match what you see on screen is the job of your color management system. Both Mac OS and Windows have built-in color management systems to enable this, along with the apps you use for photography. In order for color management to work properly, you need a profile for each of your devices. The profile acts like a fingerprint for the color for the device. The color management system uses these profiles to translate the color interpretation of one device to another. In this latest post I explain how color management works inside of ON1.

May Is Storytelling Month at ON1 Plus

Hi ON1 Plus tribe! My name is Colby Brown and I am incredibly excited to be a guest coach this month. ON1 Photo Contest (April)

Our last in house photo contest was both inspiring and fun to host. Since you guys were so awesome in your voting I wanted to go ahead and post the April contest and let you guys choose your favorite! The theme for last month’s contest was Spring/Floral. This was an open ended theme. I wanted people to enter a photo that either gave their interpretation of “Spring”  or they could just submit a “Floral” image.  Either was accepted.
