Hey ON1 Plus crew! My name is Colby Brown and I am super excited to return as an ON1 guest coach this month. While I am sure most of you have seen any number of ON1 Videos, ebooks or photo kits I have put together over the years, I am sure we have some fresh faces here as well. For the last 12 years, I have been working as a photographer, photo educator and author in the photo industry, specializing in landscape, travel and wildlife photography.
Get ready to stir up some style in this Magic Forest Look. We will begin by setting our tone and color inside of Develop. From there we will mix in some Sunshine and Dynamic Contrast for a boost of light and detail. To top off and garnish, we will add a tiny bit of a Vintage filter.
Hi everyone! It was another great month in ON1 Plus. In case you overate turkey and fell asleep, you can catch up on all the highlights in this recap! Thank you, for being a part of the Plus community—we’ve got big plans for December and 2019 is going to be the best year yet. Stay tuned for more announcements coming from ON1. Happy Holidays!
In the Matte Look we will give some vintage style to a modern photo. We will begin with a Curves filter to add the faded and matte look. Then we will bring in some Sunshine to pull out colors and midtones. We will then stir in some Dynamic Contrast for detail and then a Cross Process filter to taste.

Hi again everyone, I am having a ton of fun this month in ON1 Plus, thank you for watching my videos and leaving comments. What we’re going to cover today is a little different, restoring a scanned film negative photograph. It doesn’t matter if you’re editing scanned film or digital file but there are some considerations. Black and white conversion is a great way to enhance a photos story or mood. I hope you enjoy, as always leave comments and questions below.
With the Painterly Sunset Look, we will add some style and texture using a Luminosity Mask. Then we will mix in a little Glow and Sunshine into our water to blend. To top it all off we will add a small amount of Photo Filter.
Hi everyone! Like always, we’ve gone through and reviewed all the photos submitted this month and selected the best teachable moments. Thanks to every one of you that participated, it’s an honor to review your pictures and to see you incorporate our tips month to month. Enjoy the holiday season with food and family, and we will see you next month!
Hey everyone! Photo RAW 2019 is here, and I’m really enjoying some of the additions, enhancements, and refinements to this latest version. I’ve had a big smile on my face since downloading the first beta. In this video, I’ll take you through some of my favorite changes while I edit a few RAW files from my recent trip to Michoacan. It’s a tour of Photo RAW 2019 and Mexico’s Dia de Muertos. I hope you enjoy.
Using The Monochromatic Look we will cook up a colorless masterpiece. Combing Sunshine and Curves filters will create our base. From there we will mix in some Dynamic Contrast for detail. To top if off we will stir in a mixture of Black & White and modify to taste.
