As you guys submit photos to for our March Critique, here’s a chance to critique my first 10 days of baby photography.
It’s crazy to think that we’re approaching four years since I first launched ON1 Perfect Inspiration. Each week, we published a new episode with the goals of expanding your creative reach and helping you get the most out of your photography using ON1’s suite of editing software.
Watch the recording from yesterday’s entire live Q&A session. Nathan did a great job moderating as we spent a fun hour discussing a diverse array of topics from aperture’s place in the exposure triangle to diffraction, focus stacking and using a shallow depth of field to create depth in images. Thanks to all of you for submitting such great questions and participating in the live broadcast.
Well, I missed Day 2 because we were on the road a lot, so I’m catching up on Day 2 and 3. First off, as I write this I’m sitting on a couch drinking coffee, on a snowy windy morning. There’s basically nothing we can do outside right now. We were out last night trying to shoot the Aurora and Milky Way and it was too windy to even get a sharp photo. This morning is even worse. Snow, and around 25 mph winds makes it a nice day to relax a little and catch up.
ON1 Plus Coaches Hudson Henry and Matt Kloskowski critiqued over 450 photos. This recap shows 25 photos that they thought make the best learning moments.

Hey there Plus peeps! Okay, I need your help. I’m heading on a photo trip with some friends tomorrow, and I want to include you guys as much as possible along the journey. So I’m looking for some ideas. Here’s the deal:
Hey everyone! I just wanted to let everyone know that Hudson and his wife Stacey are the new and very proud parents of Pike Henry. Pike was born on Saturday February 20th, and mom/dad/and baby are all doing great. They may be a little sleep deprived right now, but we all know that goes away in 25-30 years 😉
