Ruffled Feathers…Epic Fury
This image was captured on 2/27/26 in Mesa County, CO near the Colorado river. This eagle was perched on the limb and then when he spotted his next meal he started to take off. The intensity in his eyes and the determination of his body was captured in this image.
Post processing notes:
I used ON1 to edit this image. It was captured using a Canon 90D with a Sigma 150-600mm lens, set at 335mm. ISO 200, 1/1000th of sec, F/7. Initially I cropped the image, used Brilliance AI, color contrast, adjusted the highlights, and sharpened the image. The sky was a picture perfect sky blue with no clouds, but by changing the sky to the Ocudrone and adding big softy I got the image I wanted.Exif information:
