Forgotten Farm Equipment
While driving on the North Fork of Long Island I came upon an overgrown field by some farms. I noticed old farming and construction equipment just cast aside there. I thought of the history of these old discarded machines and decided to photograph them. This photo is one of just many pieces of discarded machinery located there.

Photo was shot with Nikon D5300 in 2016. Shot with aperture priority at 1/80sec, F10, with 18mm Focal Length.
Purposely left the sky as overcast as (as it was) to provide better contrast with the colors of the equipment. The colors are as they were, I only enhanced the contrast, modified the blacks and sharpened the photo as far as the equipment was concerned. Photo was cropped a bit to eliminate details that would deflect from the subject i was trying to concentrate on.
