I think it would have worked better with just brushing the mask for the truck and making sure the bright areas didn’t show up where they weren’t wanted. That mask could then have been inverted to darken the rest of the shot, which would hopefully bring in some more sky detail and not look quite so unnatural.
Just my take. Photography is an art and there’s no right and wrong in art.

Hello, thank you very much, it has helped me a lot since this method goes far beyond a simle vignette. In the local setting, if you apply the vibrance setting and the exposure is low, it usually looks good on images with more color.
