Snow in Paris
It was a really strong snowstorm in Paris (and, practically, all of the Western Europe) in early January of 2026. The photo shows the strength of the snowfall and the wind. The color photograph was not conveying the strength of the snowfall and wind properly, so I had to convert it to B&W. Normally I do that conversion in DxO (Silver Efex Pro), but this time I used ON1’s B&W filter and could not be happier! Taken on January 6, 2026 with Canon 5D Mark IV, f/4, 1/20, ISO-1000 (handheld), exposure bias -1, focal length 31mm.
Post processing notes:
All editing done in ON1 Photo Raw Max – used Brilliance AI and fine-tuned it. Added a contrast filter and slightly boosted the contrast, added the B&W filter and adjusted the B&W colors and resized the image in ON1 Photo Resize AI 2026. Exported into Photoshop, where added the signature.Exif information:
