Hochstrahlbrunnen in Vienna
Dark storm clouds moved over Vienna, giving the Hochstrahlbrunnen an intense, almost cinematic atmosphere, while the bright fountain became the visual centerpiece of the scene. While taking the photograph, I already knew exactly how I wanted to edit the image in ON1 Photo RAW 2026 to separate the fountain from the dramatic sky and emphasize the unique mood created by the approaching storm. Camera settings: ISO 64, 1/1000 s, f/7.1, EV -1.
Post processing notes:
Using local adjustments, I separated the fountain from the sky in multiple stages to create stronger depth and contrast between light and the dramatic weather conditions. In ON1 Photo RAW 2026, I also applied the effects Photo Filter (Polarizer), Bleach Bypass, LUTs (Dark Night), Dynamic Contrast, and a subtle vignette to enhance the atmosphere, structure, and overall visual impact of the image.Exif information:
