Competitive Horse Rider in Tingri, Tibet
We were on our way to visit the Tibetan side of Mt. Everest in spring of 2007 and stumbled on a local horseback riding competition and were pretty much the only foreigners there. The riders were incredibly skilled, and we took a lot of shots on my first DSLR (I wish I was shooting raw back then and more skilled!). Camera settings were Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTI / F6.3 / 1/250th / ISO 400 / 200mm Tamron AF 18-200 Lens.
Post processing notes:
Since this was an old .JPG I first ran it through the new AI Restore and toned down the Face Recovery and the tone slider. Then I edited in ON1PR and masked the Rider and Horse to add some light and add Dynamic Contrast. Then I reversed the mask and added a glow to the background and finished it with a vignette.Exif information:
