In case you missed it, here is the recording from today’s Live Q&A! The main topic for this Q&A was centered around Layers, but we dive into other topics during the presentation. Watch me answer your questions and walk you through some fun editing processes in this recording. Thanks again everyone that attended and asked questions!
Category: Q & A
Don’t forget that tomorrow is my live Q&A here at ON1 Plus. To help me prepare better, I’d love it if you could post some of your questions here. That way, I can make sure I get to them and with some good examples. And while my main topic has been about layers, and I’d love to keep the overall discussion around it, I’ll also take any workflow or other questions you have if we have some extra time at the end. Really looking forward to hanging out with you guys tomorrow… See you then!
I’m just back from a trip to Kauai where he tested some new neutral density filters for Hoya. I want to recap what makes this Hawaiian island one of his favorite locations and talk about why a quality set of neutral density filters, polarizers and UV filters are always in my bag. Thank you everyone that attended and asked questions!
Thanks so much to everyone who attended my Q&A on creatively using shutter speed yesterday! The questions were great and Nathan was a fabulous host. As always, if you can’t join in live we post the video here on the Plus member site. And if you have a question that didn’t get answered in the video, feel free to leave it here or hit the “Ask Hudson” button on the right side of the page.
First off, thanks so much to everyone who attended the Iceland Q&A video from the other day. Lot’s of great questions and it was fun to re-live the trip through answering them. As always, if you can’t join in live we post the video here on the Plus member site. Thanks!
Hi all. Last week our guest coach, Brian Matiash, did a live Q&A called “Telling Your Visual Story”, and we got a great response. But I know everyone couldn’t make it in to watch live, so we recorded it and (as always) post it here to the Plus website for you to watch. The video is below. Feel free to watch it and if you have any questions, don’t forget to hit the “Ask Brian” button on the right side, or in the Discussion menu. Enjoy!
Watch the recording from yesterday’s entire live Q&A session. Nathan did a great job moderating as we spent a fun hour discussing a diverse array of topics from aperture’s place in the exposure triangle to diffraction, focus stacking and using a shallow depth of field to create depth in images. Thanks to all of you for submitting such great questions and participating in the live broadcast.
Earlier this week we hosted a live webcast/Q&A session where I edited a few of my photos, and anyone who joined in could ask questions live. Big thanks to all who joined in. We had almost 400 people which was awesome and some really great questions. But… for anyone that missed it, the video is right here so you can watch it (or re-watch it). Also, if you missed it but have any questions feel free to ask ’em Discussion area under the appropriate topic.
First an apology for the technical difficulties we had with the live Q&A session today. Comcast had an internet service problem in my studio’s neighborhood that struck 10 minutes before the broadcast. Murphy’s law in full force. For those of you who stuck it out THANK YOU. For those who couldn’t make it or understandably dropped out, I have good news for you.
Happy Friday! We just posted the video from the live “Ask Matt Anything” video the other day. The topic was workflow and any questions you have about what apps to use and in what order. The questions were taken from the Event blog post, where I asked you to submit your questions ahead of time. I also went through and wrote the questions I covered below, and grabbed the general time-code for each question in the video (see questions below). So if there’s anything special you want to jump to, that should make it easier. Have a great weekend!
