Zion Sunrise
As I arrived at Zion National Park in Utan (2016), after an overnight rain, I saw that the sky was slowly clearing with the break of dawn. I sat down on the patio at the Museum of Man and took a hundred or more shots of this scene. In addition to this stunning landscape my takeaway from this experience is that when photographing Mother Nature you must be patient: wait for her! Interestingly, I do not consider myself a landscape photographer.
Taken with a Canon Power Shot G16, a modest camera in it’s time: 12mm f/145 ISO 800 125 sec
Post processing notes:
This photo was taken and initially processed in 2016 some time ago. I'm 83 now and do not recall the specific processing I used; at the time I was using presets to help me learn about post processing. I do recall tweaking this image occasionally with new versions of ON1.Exif information:
