The Watcher
On an afternoon safari drive in the Lake Nakuru National Park in Kenya we came across this Leopard, which are among Africa’s most elusive animals, resting on a fallen tree looking calm and confident. For a brief moment it looked directly toward us creating a connection I wanted to preserve.
What I am most proud of is of all the wildlife photographs I’ve made this one has stayed with me the most. To me, it captures not just the beauty of a leopard but the rare privilege of sharing its world, if only for an instant.
