Stoltzfus Twins After A Long Day….
My good friends Rose and Mark Stoltzfus moved from New Holland, PA to FairPlay, MO in 2020 with their family. Just a few months later Mark’s mom passed away in Leola, PA, and the family of seven (at the time) made the 18-hour non-stop trip with their kids for the “viewing” and funeral. Joash and James were four at the time and found a spot on a bench in the corner of their grandparents porch and were fast asleep within minutes. Their mother pointed them out and asked if I had my camera(s) with me and the answer was “not at your mother-in-law’s Amish service” I answered. But I had my iPhone (12 ProMax in 2021) and was able to get this image in the four exposures I took. It is. my all-time favorite portrait.
Post processing notes:
I did very little post-processing other than increase the size slightly, and sharpen. The exposure was fine. Image shot at 1/120 @ F1.6 at an ISO of 64.Exif information:
