Seal Beach Pier
My wife and frequent Seal Beach a lot. It’s the Mayberry of beach towns. Very tranquil. I enjoy doing long exposures of the pier, and sometimes converting them into black and white.
Post processing notes:
I used my Nikon Coolpix A with a fixed 18mm lens (28mm with APS-C sensor) and attached a 10-stop ND filter so I could extend the exposure time to 5 seconds. The f stop was 22 and the ISO 100. I used local adjustments to do a little burning. I used Effects also to add Split Tone, Dynamic Contrast, slight Vignette, slight Texture, Color Enhancer, and finally, of course, Black & White.Exif information:
