This photo was taken in Jan 2025, of a friend of mine in the Moroccan Sahara Desert as she leaned back taking her own photo of the sun setting across the dunes. Photographers are rarely the subject of the photo, as we are usually behind the camera, but as the warm evening desert light illuminated her bright choice of clothing I saw this portrait of a ‘photographer at work’ and took it. Taken on my Canon 6D, 24-105 f3.5 – 5.6 lens, ISO 500, F5.6, 1/500th sec, at 105mm.
Post processing notes:
ON1 Photo Raw 2026 was used to crop and tweak colours and lighting. NoNoise AI was used to sharpen and denoise the image very successfully especially in the sand where noise was coming through even at the relatively low ISO of 500.Exif information:
