A Quiet Stop
Taken at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, this photo captures a butterfly resting on red flowers against a soft green background. I was drawn to the simple yet striking combination of red, black, and green, which gave the image a natural balance and made the butterfly stand out beautifully.
Post processing notes:
Edited in ON1 Photo RAW 2026 with minor cropping to improve the composition. As the butterfly was dark against a bright green background, I carefully increased the exposure, shadows, and midtones to bring out more details in the wings and body. I kept the adjustments controlled to avoid blowing out the background and to preserve the soft natural look of the scene.Exif information:
