Went to the balloon festival in Delta Colorado. On a very smokey morning, July 5 2026. I thought of the three firefighters that died, about 60 miles NW of here, last week. May this image do justice to Nick, Emily, Sydney. On the final journey.

I used ON1, with very simple edits to bring out the colors. I adjust the black and white first, then adjust highlights and shadows, with a bit of added vibrance.Exif information:
