Arches
This was taken on a summer afternoon on the banks of the Fox River near St. Charles Illinois. The texture and lighting of the arches make them an ideal candidate for a monochrome image.
Post processing notes:
Shot at ISO 400 1/250 f/8 EV 0.67. I used On1 Photo Raw to sharpen and denoise the image. I also applied a black and white filter and a gradient mask to get the light to where I wanted it.Exif information:
