The Text tool lets you add multiple blocks of text to your photo or composite, for everything from simple watermarks to more complicated text-based layouts. Within each block you have complete control over the font, type size, color and alignment, and can set the opacity of each text block.

I have not been able to figure out how to reuse a “block”.

I have to click on + and then delete the next block. I just want to single click and apply to all selected photos. Looking for shortcut to do that. It would be alright to hit + one time for each block to be added to current photo in EDIT.

You can save the Text you added into a preset and then apply that preset to photos and it will apply the text. Just make sure that you select the Text in the Apply Settings dialog.

This tool drives me nuts! The background for the text is always black no matter what I do. I hate this awful too.
