Volcanorama
Volcano that I photographed while travelling through the island of Lombok in Indonesia. I was up high enough that the clouds were almost at my same level. The light was gorgeous. I travelled extensively in Indonesia and photographed many volcanoes. This image is one of my favorites because of the dramatic light and clouds.
Post processing notes:
I shot this photo with a Sony a6600 that is converted to Infrared 720 nm. It was the perfect tool for the image. I swapped the channels using a formula created by Kolari, the company in NYC that converted the camera to infrared. The image was processed in ON1 using AI Brilliance at 100, and the preset D Town "The Study".Exif information:
