Introducing the ON1 Professional Plugin Series
The ON1 Professional Plugin Series is a new product line focusing on bringing ON1’s editing technologies into existing professional photo workflows with a more integrated experience. Photographers today use many different workflows, and most photographers are looking to build on their existing workflows using better technologies that work efficiently together. The starting point for the ON1 Professional Plugins includes greatly expanding compatibilities with host applications, which include Adobe Lightroom Classic and Photoshop, Affinity Photo, Corel Paintshop Pro, Apple Photos, and Capture One plugin support coming very soon.

The new ON1 Effects 2021 gives you professional results in seconds without having to do any complex edits. ON1’s team of experts curated the trendy and traditional photographic looks with amazing new filters and presets. New features in version 2021 include a new replace color filter to easily change the color of objects. The new Spot Healing Brush is the perfect tool to remove distractions while maintaining full non-destructive adjustments for each spot removed. The new custom brush shapes give customers a quantum-leap in new ways to add creative edits. The new Color-Sensitive Gradient Masks will detect the color under the gradient and apply the mask to only that adjustable color range. The new spot healing brush, full-screen preview, and custom brush shapes are also added to the latest version, a free update for all ON1 Portrait AI owners.

What’s Ahead for the ON1 Professional Plugins
In addition to the expanded set of host applications, ON1 is working on better integration with each host application. Future updates will include further developing non-destructive workflows between plugins and host applications, so photos remain re-editable.

ON1 Photo RAW customers will also begin to see significant benefits from this work as each new plugin and technology enhancement will be fully integrated into the standalone ON1 Photo RAW workflow.

ON1 is also partnering closely with Matt Kloskowski, a leading photo and software educator, to offer a valuable training resource for photographers and a goto resource for the Adobe and ON1 plugin workflow. Matt K’s Corner is a news and blog style platform to inform customers of the best way to integrate ON1 into their workflows. Matt will provide monthly videos and how-to articles, along with his recommended best practices.
