Starlit Moments at the Danube Canal
The historic Vienna Urania shone as a luminous centerpiece along the Danube Canal on this clear night, while the colorful lights reflected softly across the water, creating a unique urban atmosphere. With the combination of modern city elements, Viennese charm, and calm reflections, I wanted to capture the elegant mood of Vienna after dark. For this image, I created a bracketed series of three long-exposure photographs, which I later merged in ON1 Photo RAW to enhance both the lighting mood and the architectural details.

Post processing notes:
The final image was created from an HDR composition of three long exposures in ON1 Photo RAW. I then refined the photograph using local adjustments with brush and luminance masks to selectively enhance the lights, reflections, and architecture. The effects Curves, Dynamic Contrast, Color Mixer, and two instances of Tone Enhancer were applied to strengthen contrast, color depth, and the overall nighttime atmosphere.Exif information:
