Two Sets of Wings

This photo was taken at La Jolla Beach, CA, on June 21, 2007. My wife and son and I went there near sunset. I was watching my son as he played in the Pacific Ocean. When I saw a bird about to fly over him with its wings spread, I noticed that my son had his “wings” spread as well. I snapped the photo just as the bird was above him. I later noticed that my son had scooped up some water in his left hand and had a small waterfall coming from it. The bird, my son, and setting sun had come together in perfect juxtaposition.
