The last stop in the motherland
I took the photograph at the mouth of the Ter River (Gola del Ter, Spain). With the photo, I wanted to convey the mixture of fresh and salt water, the continuous flow that never stops, and the permanence of the trunks as they cling to the sand, mi-
micking ancient fossils. To achieve this, I used a tripod and an ND filter, a wide-angle lens, a reduced aperture
to obtain the necessary depth of field, and a long exposure time.
