Sumatran Kitty
Taken at the Phoenix zoo in Arizona on 6-09-2007 using a Canon 20D and a Canon 70-200 f/4 lens at 159mm. The tiger had just jumped into the tree and walked out on the branch and looked directly at me. Shot in RAW through an opening in a chain link fence. ISO 200, 1/200 sec, f/7.1, 159mm. Edited using On1 PhotoRaw 2026

Post processing notes:
First used HDR mode, then used Dynamic contrast to reduce highlights and whites and blacks. Next I selected the subject, (tiger), and applied the Sunshine filter, Natural mode. Then I selected the eyes in the local filter and used lighten style to brighten them slightly. Finished with Vignette Big Softy.Exif information:
