“Sea”-130
Looking west at sunset on the big island of Hawaii, a C-130 was turning towards Kona airport to land. I just loved the way the silhouette of the plane looked against the colors of the sunset against the ocean and the clouds and I was able to quickly grab this photo with my Nikon D7200 with 18-300mm at 300mm, 1/500, f/6.3, ISO 320, June 2, 2026 by Mark McDaid.
Post processing notes:
All editing was in ON1, using Brilliance AI as my starting point, I then tweaked the tone and color settings, added 3 local adjustments using gradient masks, added some dynamic contrast, cropped the image, and used NoNoise AI to remove the noise from the final image.Exif information:
