Rokeby Road
While driving down Rokeby Road in Fauquier County, Virginia in August 2025 I saw the old field stone fences along both sides of the road leading to those dynamic clouds in the distance. I put a 16mm lens on my Canon R6 MK2. I shot in Raw at 1/500 sec., f7.1 at 100 ISO in manual mode.
Post processing notes:
In the then current version of On1 I used the Landscape profile in Tone and color and adjusted for blown highlights in the clouds while adjusting the Black and White sliders for more contrast. In the Effects tab I added Dynamic Contrast and Sunshine. I tried the B&W filter but decided I wanted more "pop" for this shot so I tried the B&W Infrared Filter in the Channel Mixer and got the result I was looking for.Exif information:
