This photograph was captured during an evening game drive in the Lake Nakuru National Park in Kenya. What drew me to the scene was the connection between them . Their relaxed expressions and the way they leaned against one another revealed a side of lions that people rarely see.
I’m especially proud of this image because because it captures a fleeting moment that can’t be planned or created – the golden light, the composition, and the connection between the lions.
Shot from a safari vehicle with no opportunity to direct the scene, only patience.
