Passing the mouse to my babies
This is the parent Black shoulder Kite passing the mouse to the newly fledged siblings. I had watched the father passing the mouse to the mother in mid air and then the mother taking it back to the nest. This shot of when the babies fledged was an absolute bonus. Both siblings were trying to get there first! Taken at 5.30 pm on 17/10/25 by Jimmy Lewis. Canon R6 f/8 1/3200sec ISO-800. Canon 100-500 lens @500
