Mt. Washington Sunset
This photo was taken during one of my family ski trips to our family cabin on the nearby ski mountain, where the views are always stunning; So when I began to take up photography as a hobby, I brought my new camera to my next family trip. After a long day on the slopes, I watched a beautiful pink sunset sky blanket the entire white, snow covered mountain in its hue. I set up my camera and took this photo. With a nearby picturesque cabin in the village in the foreground surrounded by snow covered pines, I feel this image really captures the feeling of all those beautiful evenings on the mountain. Taken on Canon EOS R100, 1/150 f10 ISO 400
Post processing notes:
This photo was edited exclusively in ON1 Photo RAW 2026. Colour and exposure edits were used but overall there was no large changes to the image. AI Denoise helped sharpen the image and it was then cropped along with a border effect and then exported. Instagram: lachlanhphotosExif information:
