Kura Tawhiti (Castle Rocks
A magical location called Castle Hill rocks are located in the Kura Tawhiti / Castle Hill Conservation Area 150KM from Christchurch New Zealand and 54 KM from Arthur’s Pass. It was also featured as a backdrop in Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Post processing notes:
I basically loaded my image into ON1 Raw using some cropping and dynamic contrast. Image was captured on 9th April 2024 on a Canon R5 at 1/320 sec and f16. Iso setting was 500 on the day due to overcast conditions.Exif information:
