It’s Lonely at the Top (of the Pine Tree)
This (assumedly juvenile) Red-Tailed Hawk was crying out repeatedly while I wandered around the forest preserve. Eventually, I spotted it looking rather forlorn atop the pine tree; it’s lonely being at the top…of the tree.
