Hollow Decay – Ontario Farm

I was just an enthusiastic (and somewhat sporadic) amateur photographer who didn’t have my camera with me when I got lost on the back roads of Grey County, Ontario on 15th March 2025.
But then I happened upon this dilapidated farmhouse that stood so majestically proud against the elements and was struck by its beauty and the drama it must have witnessed. So I stopped and took this pic with my iPhone 11 (4.25mm f1/8). Although the sky was quite plain and grey I could actually visualise the edits as I took the picture. It’s not my best pic but it’s one I love because of how I came upon it and how with a few basic edits it was transformed into mysterious beauty – in the eye of the beholder of course!
