Post processing notes:

For this photo I used the super select tool in Photo Raw to select just the bank to lighten its exposure compared with the rest of the image, to give it a bit more structure and to bring out the green a bit. I also used the color enhancer effect with the desert setting to pull up some reds and the dynamic contrast effect to add more texture. I also added a slight vignette.
