Gooseneck Bend
The image was taken while my wife and I were on a short vacation to Capitol Reef National Park near Torrey, Utah. Near the park entrance is a feature known as “Panorama Point,” and just beyond that is a dirt road that leads to the “Gooseneck,” which is a nearly dry riverbed that follows a winding path along the canyon floor about 300 feet below.
Post processing notes:
Dynamic contrast was adjusted slightly to emphasize the rocky terrain. Curves were used in a minimal fashion. A vignette, color enhancement, and a bit of glow were also added.Exif information:
