GINZA WACO WINDOW
When we are in Tokyo it is hard to miss the decorations in WACO under the Seiko Clocktower in GINZA Central. Mitsukoshi store across the road is responsible for a lot of the reflections.
Post processing notes:
This photo taken with an apple Iphone in April 2024 shows an array of complexity that surprised me when I opened it up in onone. there are reflections from all the areas behind, buildings, clouds, road crossing persons waiting and onone was used to specifically differentiate areas enhancing highlights and modifying shadows . The upper section of the photo would have been cut off with the A2 proportions so was sectioned and lowered, hard to tell. I had fun working it up and blown up it looks terrific. the 150 MB after Resize was too big to send. it is an image you can spend quite a while exploring and come back later and find even more. The finesse of the OnOne software allows extremely fine control of Tones and Density. I could not have achieved this in the Darkroom. I still have a special one with multiple enlargers but it has not been used for many years.Exif information:
