Flying Saucer Bloom
I shoot Southwest Flora in Arizona: that’s my “thing.” This photo is one of my best sellers, taken using a pocket Sony T50 point and shoot camera. Technically the bloom is a hybrid Trichocereus a cross beed of cacti native to South America. Thus they are nursery grown and used widely as landscape plants in Arizona. They bloom at night and the blossoms wilt by noon, which is a short, but good window for photography.
