Fan full of eyes
I shot this at a local zoo. I was shooting flowers when he came up and gave me a warning flash of his feathers. I immediately turned my attention to the Peacock. Manual focus settings on a Pentax K-1 with a Segma 70-300mm lense 400 ISO, F8, 1/2000.
Post processing notes:
All editing was done with On1. I adjusted my tones and highlights, made a duplicate copy and used the black and white film "Kodak 10" filter. Next I made another copy of the original image and overlaid it onto the black and white image. Next using the masking brush I painted out areas of color from the image to highlight the spots on the feathers and bird body. I then added a layer with my signature.Exif information:
