Dark Sub-highway Tunnel
I took this on my old A6000 Sony as part of what I call my “arty farty” phase. I had a manual Sony E mount to Pentax K mount adapter fitted with manual focussing and using a vintage 50mm f 1.4 pentax lens.
Even though it was broad daylight the dark tunnel under the highway made me think of night time, dark shadowy figures, graffiti artists and personal safety. The lights in the tunnel were not operating so I really would not be hanging out after dark.
I loved the symmetry of the tunnel walls, the contrast of light and dark and ON1 helped to bring the best of it out. I levelled up with the crop feature, and also sharpened and adjusted saturation in ON1 RAW 2026.4.
Camera Sony A6000 at 1/1000 sec, (F stop unknown as E mount adapter used with old K mount Pentax lens) and the ISO 1600
