California Sunset

Shot in 2011 has always been one of my favorites. This is a master composite of over 7 photos of that night. Each year I dig this picture up and try out the new updates. Here, for the first time I was able to find a boat in the picture I had never seen before. It also had three different shades in the hills leading down to the sun. Each year I discover more. When I originally shot this in 2011 I was bracketing and because I had so many parts to this picture I could never find one frame that included them all. So this was the solution. Best foreground, best wave, best sky, best birds, best coast line, all falling together to match the colors in the primary image. This image always reminds me of peace! Enjoy.
